Directed by Wynton Marsalis, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) is made up of 15 of today’s most respected Big Bad soloists and musicians, this famed and versatile orchestra is capable of performing a repertoire ranging from masterpieces of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Fletcher Henderson, Thelonious Monk, Mary Lou Williams, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Goodman, Charles Mingus and many others, to works composed by the members of the group and works commissioned by Jazz at Lincoln Center.
