Quarantine Concerts Series
During this time of social distancing and stay at home orders, pianist Steven Feifke and I began live-streaming from our New York City apartment. Running for over 30 weeks, these "Quarantine Concert Series" take place every Sunday evening at 8:00PM ET. Some concerts were accompanied by a Pre-Concert Conversation where we talk about the featured composer, his/her history, and how we approach his/her music more in depth.
Concerts are now being offered for free on Crowdcast and Facebook Live with the opportunity to give an increased contribution on the Crowdcast Event page (desktop only). Pre-Concert Conversations are open to the public, thanks to our Platinum Sponsors (see below).
25% of proceeds each week are donated to an Arts Organization helping musicians and artists that have been impacted by the effects of COVID-19. With the help of our generous supporters, we have been able to donate almost $10,000 to COVID-19 Musicians Relief Funds and organizations supporting the Black Lives Matter Movement since quarantine began in March.
